So...in addition to our children, photography, WOW, Diablo III, Skyrim, the NEW Batman, and X-Men First Class, the hubby and I have a new addiction.
His name is David Thorne and we like him. A lot. He is definitely not for people with no concept of sarcasm or dark humor. He's fairly crass, but undeniably intelligent. The hubby discovered him via Imgur, and showed him to me when I came home tonight. I'm not sure how long he was browsing the site without me, but I know we enjoyed about an hour of posts when I came home. It was very nice to sit back and enjoy the wit of man who is undeniable dauntless.
Okay, review hour is over. It's been a fairly active day and I'm glad to be sitting in my bed waiting on Mom to come home from her Bible Study. The hubby is still on Mr. Thorne's blog, but I'm personally thinking about putting in a little time on WoW, or maybe bugging Mom when she comes home. Bugging her is a favorite past time. We had a pretty good day. Ran lots of errands and paid lots of bills.
On the calendar, Friday should be shown with the dramatic Happy/Sad face duo.
Hello Paycheck! :) Goodbye Paycheck! :(
But we had a pretty good time. Mouse enjoyed herself at Lens Crafters. Too bad the glasses that she LOVED were $164.00. Sorry kid, Mommy loves you, but Mommy does not have BIG money!
Ah well. It's better for her to learn to appreciate the things she has, and to work for the things she wants. I may have spoiled kids, but we have values darn it! :)
Wow. It's almost midnight already. If I were at work right now, this would be the longest 15 minutes of the day. The fewer minutes until the end of the shift...the longer the minute. I don't know who made that law, but I don't like it. However, since I am NOT at work tonight, I am going to make the best of these fifteen minutes and read my Stephanie Plum book. If you don't know Stephanie Plum, I would HIGHLY suggest Googling her. The books are a great, quick, and quirky read. And I do love the word quirky!
On that note.
Mom is home! Let the bugging begin!

Flu shots and potty time!
I always feel like that first blog post should be pretty fantastic. But, in truth, I'm not very fantastic. I live with my Hubby, our 2 year old, BB, our 4 year old, Mouse....and my parents. But we like it and we're comfy. Believe it or not, we still like each other!
I work for Sprint, in a call center. Not very exciting, but I like it and it pays the bills. Plus, I have Tuesdays and Wednesdays off, which sounds like a bummer, but is great for doctors appointments. Today for instance, we had a check up for BB (which resulted in the dreaded "she has a virus, just let it be" and the horrid flu shot!). Following the check up, we had a DNA test for Mouse (...awkward....), and an eye exam for me (In case you're wondering, I do not qualify for cataract removal surgery. Beware. They still let me drive!) Daddy's patience today is nothing short of miraculous. There is no way you could bribe me with enough chocolate to sit out in the car for 2 hours...2 hours! with grumpy babies. No way. Not me! He's a much better stay-at-home-Mommy than I am.
At least now, he has the Diablo III Beta testing to keep him busy!
*Diaper change break*
I think we're ready for potty training. She can bring me a diaper and tell me when she's wet. I think we're ready. Anyone have any tips? Because, as of right now, Daddy and I are the only ones who think BB is ready for the big P! Every time we mention it, she responds with a very adamant "NO! I WANT POOPOO IN DIAPER!" How do you argue with that? We even tried bribing her with panties, juice, and /sigh candy. I guess it's time to break out that thirty minute timer.
